Just on a small note - Cecilia watched Doctor Who and she really likes it!
Another Doctor Who fan to join our ranks.
!!!!
Erk, I worked like all day for my mum today - I hope she actually pays me.
OK, now onto what I was supposed to be talking about.
I'd like to fit in a little rant about the show Moonlight.
Yes, the vampire show (<3 vampires) starring Sophia Myles.
It's so weird seeing her on a normal American serial.
Plus her American accent seems to fake sometimes - it sounds a little overdone and flat.
OK, I must point out the similarities between Twilight and Moonlight.
Well, the plot are sort of the same.
Mick St John is a vampire, and he likes Beth Turner (Sophia) who's human. So he tries to do the whole I-must-stay-away-from-you-because-I-put-you-in-danger type thing. Sound familiar?
Except he's with her anyway.
And the name also.
Can you believe that it was ACTUALLY going to be called Twilight?
But then they changed it to Moonlight.
I guess the producers have been introduced to a little something called copyright.
-edit again-
I was trying to find a place to watch VOTD online for someone and I'd thought I'd just post it here...
-cough- Carina -cough-
lol it's got random Chinese subs and it's at a Chinese site, but you don't need to click anything so it's ok.
I wasn't even aware of this - last time I checked she was dating some random law student, but she got married like yesterday or something.
Seems like I'm a little uninformed.
Pictures and stuff here:
Ohhh but guess who was at her wedding?
DAVID TENNNANT!
Oh, he looked very good in that purplish blazer thing.

In case I'm not blogging tomorrow, a happy new year to you!
I have nothing to blog about as always - I've even decided to blog before I log onto LJ so that I actually don't repeat the stuff here - but I really have no idea what I can write here anymore.
But is it the holidays and we haven't been going anywhere much because it's just to freaking hot.
I spent the day playing with my sister - can you believe it?
Oh, and also I drew a picture of Barbie for her too.
I'm really becoming a big softie.
-edit-
Just squeeze a random rant here.
Someone get me Donnie Darko on DVD. Plus the two disc soundtrack while you're at it!
Nothing to report really.
Oh, Kylie came over today and we made ice cream!
And we basically spent the whole day playing with my sister.
I'm downloading Enchanted right now - very un-like me huh?
It actually doesn't look that bad despite the fact that I hate Disney movies (except POTC maybe).
Yes!!!!
OMGOMGOMG!
I just finished download the Doctor Who special episode!
Voyage of the Damned.
It's 700MB so it's pretty good quality.
Totally icon-worthy. <33333
I'll watched it tomorrow.
Just in case I'm not on tomorrow - Merry Christmas everybody!
Went to the airport today to see my dad off (he's going to China without us!!).
Anyway, did I mention that I love going to the airport?
It's so cool and airy and big and entertaining and there's so much places to explore.
And it's funny lining up in the check in thing, because everyone there basically all spoke Shang or Mandarin and it's funny overhearing the things they say.
I'm probably going psycho here - but I feel this weird bond thing with them.
Anyway, I think I'm almost fangirling over like, one third of Super Junior.
After watching Full House, I've decided my favourite members are (not in any order) Kim KiBum, Han Kyung, Siwon and Dong Hae.
Apparently, according to rumours, Han Kyung (the Chinese member of SuJu) has been chosen to be a torchbearer for the 2008 Beijing Olympics!
Skipped school today to go to Town Hall with Lisa and Cindy.
Cindy and I walked to Kino first because Lisa's train was delayed.
There were so many cool Asian magazines!
With pretty guys on the cover.
Nahh not ALL of them were good magazines, but anyway.
I was trying to find a magazine with KAT-TUN in it, and I did, but they weren't like HUGE and really nice photoshoots, otherwise I definitely would have bought it.
And also all the magazines were covered in plastic wrap so we can't even flip through them.
How annoying.
I was marvelling at the gorgeous hairstyles of the men and the women.
Then we drifted off to the Chinese section - it's so unfair! The sign for the Japanese section is so much larger than the one for Chinese, plus it's got colour too!
And not as much magazines.
And half of it was from Hong Kong.
What happened to mainland China and Taiwan?!
Anyways, we went through the whole store, THEN Lisa turns up, and it was actually because she slept in.
TUT-TUT!!
We went to look at the magazines some more, and I was complaining about how all the girls on the Jap mags look the same because they all dye their hair the same shade - and she was saying that it was because it looks PRETTY.
I mean, how could anyone look pretty if everyone looks the same?!
But, I guess the about the only shade that looks not so unnatural on an Asian.
I mean, blonde on an Asian is just gross.
But a really dark purplish brown is nice - that's what I plan to dye my hair if I ever do.
We basically walked around the city - and we were lucky enough to go to Centrepoint, where Dr Karl Kruszelnicki was doing a book signing - Lisa was really excited because she's read one of his books, and she won't admit it but she's totally a fan.
He's the scientist that was in that RTA microsleep ad, you know.
Anyway, we decided to wait in line and take a picture with him.
We were giggling in the line and I was worrying a bit in case he gets offended that we didn'y buy his book to sign and only wanted a picture.
But he turned out to be quite nice and Lisa took a picture of Cindy, Dr Karl and I, then I took a picture of Cindy, Lisa and Dr Karl.
I was hunting around for Jane Eyre, but I never found one with a good looking cover.
And we went to Dymocks and they didn't even have it!
How outrageous is that?!
Anyway, I'll post that picture when Lisa sends it to me - if she ever does.
Just a little quick update - my parents invited some random friends over for dinner - and they only told me when they went to pick them up!!!
Geez, talk about unexpected!!
Well anyway, the MAIN reason for the update - David Tennant is going to be on Top Gear, and the promo pics for it has come out.
LOL @ David posing with The Stig.
These pics are so icon-worthy.
Will make some icons soon.
Crappy ones, coz I can't make good ones.
David has a cute expression on as always.
School is soooo boring these days!
I mean, it's pretty boring normally, but now, it's like, I-fall-asleep-within-the-first-2-mintues-of-entering-the-classroom boring.
Kalina actually let us have a maths party tomorrow... pity I'm not going (I don't think anyway)
Our whole train group isn't going to be there, so I might as well jig.
It's my mum's birthday today, and I had to give her flowers coz I didn't know what to get her.
She seemed pretty happy though, so that's good.
And they might go out for dinner, so I might have the whole house to myself later at night.
My parents really really want me to get a job now - it's really annoying.
I mean, I don't wanna just work at one of those fast food chain stores.
I actually wouldn't mind babysitting - but actually that's a pretty huge responsibility and I need to know all the fire escape plans/evacuations and all those safety precautions, which I'm not going to bother going through.
Well it seems like everyone is on holidays except for me.... it's so unfair.
We got our reports yesterday - it was a little worse than I expected.
I think I only got two subjects above average - that's really not very good at all.
Maths classes are out - and like I anticipated, I've been moved down to 3rd class.
I'm not the only one who got moved though - Susan got moved too.
So I guess we can empathise. Plus I know a few people in that class so it'll be ok I guess...
Presentation Day was SOOOO BORING!!
Though I did have a very in-depth discussion about our future careers and ambitions (or lack of, for me) with Susan while waiting for the assembly to begin.
The soapbox was so not funny - all I could hear of some of the adults laughing - adults laugh at unfunny stuff.
Right now I'm downloading Yukan Club - I can't wait for this episode, Jin wears a uber cool blazer type thing - and cool sunnies.
It looks so cute on him!!!
<333
This episode is definitely icon-worthy.
Oh, and I can't freaking believe it!
They end Supernatural here, but they still show it in the US!!!!
*^&&%^$%^^&%**&(^(*)*&()##*())#@$!^@!!!!
And 10 more days till Doctor Who Xmas special! (lol while everyone else would wait for Christmas. I see nothing special about Christmas, to be honest. I mean, we don't do anything. I don't get presents anyway, and plus it's only meaningful to those people whose religion has a connection to Christ etc.)
